Sorry for posting here, as there's no thread for A7II yet. Perhaps mod Pinholecam can change the current thread title to "Sony A7/A7R/A7II Image Sharing Thread"?

Been absent for sometime as I sold away my A7R. Recently bought the A7II and tried shooting a few. Here's one taken with the cheap and good Konica Hexanon AR 40mm.

I actually prefer the A7R's handling, and missing its humongous resolution. But will just enjoy the A7II for now.

What adaptor are you using? Does Autofocus works?

Using Metabones V3, autofocus is available but painfully slow.

Are these shot wide open? Am thinking getting this lens too... how do u find it? Thanks...

It's good but not fantastic. Things I like about this lens is the weight, compactness with EA4 and not pricey. AF is rather slow and hunts sometimes though. Here're more random shots I took.

Yeah.. if what is described by their revision objectives comes true, then I would think that its the best thing to gravitate to.

Yeah, I saw that too.
Price is ok imho if it can deliver.
But looks like its grown to CV12 size.

actually it looks closer in size and design to the 21mm f1.8 now!

hope it is really good! i really enjoy the 15mm on my a7s. will be great it if was perfect on the a7r too!
