Sony A7 II

U mean the camera has got issues? What's ur damage?

So far so good with my set. Read a few post up that there are potential problems with the camera.

Damage is close to 4k. 😥😥

Bro dont sweat on the problems reported by the others. Enjoy the camera!

If you go looking for issues, you will definitely find them. If nothing crops up during your normal usage of the camera then best to leave it as it is and not think too much. :)

Need advice, I've just pick up a 7r 6 mth ago to learn photography and is still learning day by day, should I sell the 7r and get the 7ii when the 7r is still valuable with 8 mth warranty to go ? I don't really like the big mega pixel and I prefer to shoot without tripod. Or should I stay with the 7r and learn more before switching? I'm not into following the latest model and I'm fine with the loud shuttle sound. I shoot anything as I'm still in learning mode

Advise that you stick with A7R. It is already a very top notch camera and you can learn a lot from using it. Apart from the AF which is slower, I don't see the point of switching. Unless you are into shooting sports, hyper active kids, pets, where you need fast AF.

IBIS - it can help but it will not make an average photo look awesome.

The large mega pixel will require higher shutter speed or tripod cos it can be unforgiving for any shake which the highly detailed image will shows. The other 'problem' is the large files to work with. I feel a A7, A7ii or A7s will be a more suitable camera and you will probably get more photos to keep....overall more encouraging without diluting the photography experience.

Utilize ur current camera. Don't think too much about gears, just keep shooting and learning.

Damn I just bought A7II yesterday from MS Color body with FE 16-35 Lens. Big hole in my pocket now and now I am reading camera problems. Really a concern now. Have to use the camera this week to monitor. Hope mine will be fine.

Did you get your A7II body for $2159 or much lower from MS Color?

Want to change camera wait for A9 see what it offers first. Have been using 7r for about a yr bringing it for vacations with good results.

Prior to 7r i would bring my fuji and oly for holidays which was a hassle. Invest ur money in quality lenses

Nice setup. Was trying out 1635 + 35 + 55 during my staycation and turns out I do not need the 35. Maybe I also get an 85 for travel [emoji14]
