actually my secondary school caning not painful, nothing compare to my primary school. Comes to think of it, should thank my primary school for preparing us for things to come. Hahaha
well, let's just say that people don't always enjoy indulging in logical discussions - after a while they will resort to name-calling.... spouting popularist views to gain more people on their side to gangbang you.. some will call in their khakis to flame you together... some lagi best, will PM other people who disagree also to flame you...
the list goes on. this isn't about anything that happened recently.
even adults do that - let alone kids. reason doesn't always help.
from the look that you still have your old ID showed that you won most of the arguements??? or at least never argue with the wrong person :bsmilie:

lol. during my time in primary school, there was a very naughty boy. the teacher did not cane him but informed his fasther.
the father rushed down with a very thick cane, and punished( like SM type) his kid infront of the class. we were shocked, the teacher also shocked....

so the parents become real bully. and then the teacher lodges complaint that the parents action had caused self-esteem destruction, de-moralised, all negative mental illness surfaced blah blah.... :dunno:
If the kid is not tough, train the kid or send to "special" school!! Cannot take some punishment, grow up become what?? Like these days working class work like dog kena scolded like rubbish.... why no storm action to the manager room???

to think i used to be caned so often in class.. either for talking, not handing up homework , failing my spelling.. haha.. oh and i am not that old..

Woah...so extreme. I used to get caned , not so often, up till about P5. Having looked back, no big deal. My nephews have it more extreme, and they too turned out good.
I look at some kids nowadays, and I think of the adage "Spare the rod, spoil the child" - when the situation demands it of course.
