Slow posting

Hi guys,

anyone experiencing slow posting? And when i refresh, it became a double post even though i didn't press submit twice.

If you notice, someone in B&S actually did some multiply post.

So i thought it might be the server? or maybe my provider?

Yup, I had the same thing happen when I posted in Kopitiam also.

I also having the same problem.. using starhub.. tried to post something but end up posting 4 times. But seems ok now that I am able to post this here.

Not sure is it server problem or ISP, as i've no problem surfin other sites.

Seems like i getting logout from server, everytime sent post.
*i didn't use remember me and firefox for remembering passwords.

We had an out-of-memory condition on our database server which caused the slowdown today. It has now been fixed and we are monitoring.

Please let us know if the situation occurs again.

yup...encountered slow posting ard 9.30am. funny thing is reading threads was fast. anyway my posting timed out. i then resubmitted after verifying in the thread that my post did not go thru. when the posting finally succeed there was a duplicate of the post in the thread.

what i usually do when posting timed out is to go back to the original thread and hit reload. i can check if my post is already submitted.

what i usually do when posting timed out is to go back to the original thread and hit reload. i can check if my post is already submitted.

yup...did that. it wasn't posted so i resubmitted. later found it was duplicated.
