another quake has hit Taiwan, now all circuits including phones are down. we can all help ease the network congestion by laying off trying to get to the overseas sites for now.

The en-route will be priority to the business users and not the consumers.
I always pity the SAs. Get blamed for anything and everything that happens related to the internet and computers. :angry:

I got 2 biz DSL plans at different locations, both also cannot access oversea site ;(
can connect to clubsnap, but can't connect to overseas website now.... xian![]()

coz Taiwan was more technologically advanced than China when they laid the cables. They can always lay another cable through China but then they would prob run the risk of people stealing bandwidth. :bsmilie:I wonder why the cables pass throught Taiwan. :think:
REd and Green are not the only ones affected. A lot of people with leased lines are also affected.
FWIW, Bloomberg since last night till now also cannot get their service working. So we can only just walk around! No work. But lucky, local surfing still can, post on CS mah..
