Inflation is global issue, I am happy that the gov has taken steps to tackle it from multiple angle, some people may or may not satisfied with it but when u look back many years later, u will appreciate all these tinkering to make our life sustainable.

Many yrs ago they told you that you can depend on your CPF for your retirement.
Many yrs later, now, they said don't rely on yr CPF, it is not enough.
Many yrs later, in future, you will be in deep shxx!

Saw the Chinese newspaper just now, most of the "pioneer generation" don't know what kind of subsidies they are entitled and they also don't know the eligibility criteria.

Another one of those, "pretending to be doing something generous" but actually doing nothing policy
