Is it a grey set? I.e does it come with a local Canon warranty and not a shop warranty. Also check that all the accessories like the hot shoe stand, manual and pouch are included as they might try to 'sell' you those for higher prices.

Usually, CS has got the best bargain under "Mass Order", if its cheaper than that, then be very careful.

I'd be careful if I were you. Personally, I would recommend that u go to one of the recommended shops at Funan/Peninsula area instead of Sim Lim. It may be slightly more expensive but at least you are sure of your purchase. Popular recommendations are Cathay Photo, John 3:16 and Alan Photo.

The last e-quote I got from CP about 430EX is $430.... $30 extra, go for popular shops with peace of mind.

SLS, you got to be very careful. They like to quote some low prices to entice you to come in and deal. Once you say you want the set, they will come out with all kinds of tricks like the price don't include this and that, which should be in the original box.

yes...u r correct...even the com accessaries shop - AT* priced their very limited # of lowepro bag and giottos blower ($18) even higher than CP...some more fixed price with no neg and cash term.

so far i only bought my lowepro stealth reporter 100AW from SLS(rest were from AP).
iirc that shop was at the basement... last one left when i got it, price is ard 86, pretty close to CP.

after that i went to the 2nd or 3rd floor with my frend(he wanted to get 1 as well)... was quoted 150+++ for the same baggy
