i am also going to hk to get this lens.
to the above questions, i would like to know the answers too.

Me too, going HK soon to get this lens. should I need to calibrate the lens, I should be able to do it in HK, right? how do I test if the lens needs to be calibrated on my D90? Can't wait to do it in SG cos I want to use it in HK.

1st pic: Is the "M" key the subject?

3rd pic: Seem to focus on bottom left, Ctrl or Fn key. Is the red centre trackstick your subject?

I just got mine, nikon mount. I think it's crystal sharp if you get it right.

haven't really have time to do any shooting with this lens, just brief test shots on the keyboard.

Will post some here when I settle down :)

Bro,

1st pic: Is the "M" key the subject?
- Yes, "M" key is the subject.

3rd pic: Seem to focus on bottom left, Ctrl or Fn key. Is the red centre trackstick your subject?
- focal point is on the blue icon on the spacebar.

The pics that i took doesn't look sharp to me, i just wanted to have another pair of eyes for verification. I booked an appt tomorrow for 2nd time calibration at Sigma SC. Hope will be fine after the 2nd time.

Appreciate man.

Instead of pic of keyboard, please try it on a living thing, e.g. XMM or worse come to worse, a cat or a dog to test the sharpness.

i just tried 8 copies at tin cheung...not a single one is decent...
price is at 3150 cash.
credit card plus 2 %

my understanding is that film is less finicky than the digital sensor on focus.

Woah, they are really patient with you hor.. so did you buy from them?
Now I am not quite sure if I should get from them. Hope there are more positive comments regarding their copies.

just came back from hk.
got my lens at tin cheung, don't think its a sharp copy though. there was not enough time as i had to visit other places, so i plan to send it to sigma service centre.
