Nikon version of the Sigma 50mm 1.4 art is in. According to TK Foto facebk post
I'm kinda noob.. Issit if shot wide open with say 2' away.. Focus kinda run.. Err, I don't mean out of focus.. But I pointed to the middle of the eyes.. Certain part become sharp, certain part with go out of focus!?
The part above eyebrow seems to be in focus, looks like a stretch of line in focus! Am I doing anything wrong?
Depth of field.
Thanks. I'll look into it again. Perhaps my understanding for DOF is not sufficient

Their posting of 'Limited stock' is surely an understatement as each authorised dealer was allocated at most 2 sets of the Nikon-mount lens only for that inital batch.
At least we are assured by the sticker on the box that the lens is compatible with the latest Nikon cameras like D5300 and Df.
By the way, limited stocks of the Canon-mount version is coming this week. So those who are interested in getting one has better get to their favorite dealers to reserve one pronto.![]()
I shall wait and decide if this is the 50mm to get! I haven't been a fan of 50mm, but hey, maybe this is a go!
