1st few times shooting birds. I love the lens. This picture is taken handheld at 500mm :bsmilie::bsmilie:
Did some cropping, sharpening and curves. Was not able to do so with my 200mm lens previously and attain this kind of results.

Looking at the sample pics....at 500mm is a far cry form the EF 500mm F4L IS. Althought it is cheap...I believe if I get this lens, it would be long before I want to upgrade again.

recieved my lens this morning
warranty card there but not reciept

tested few shots and quite cool thou..
then off to Lords and paid $98 for a 86mm Hoya UV (no other choices ..)
