Hi, I was wondering, how did you check if the lens is sharp or not when you bought the lens? Of course, we can bring our camera (body), attach the lens to it, and try shooting. But it won't be so clear whether it is sharp or not until we transfer it to a computer. Did you bring your own laptop to the shop, etc? Please advise. Thanks a lot!

I tested for front back focus. It should be focused for the points where u set it to be. Other than that, the rest go home to test.

It is to calibrate the lens with the camera body that ur using so that the focus is spot on where u intend it to be..It is an overly hyped up issue abt sigma having focusing issue(something abt the QC of sigma)..so usually buyers will want to send their sigma lens for calibration so that it'll work best with their camera body they own..
