just got this lens from a fellow cser, must say the lens is in tiptop condition except that it came with the old sigma front cap without the centre pinch haha... quite annoying at times. probably will order a newer front cap from ebay.
initial impression, the lens is not really the sharpest UWA ive seen but pretty acceptable still (considering the very modest price!). Build quality is superb, i would say better than the canon 10-22 (never liked the ef-s lens build quality, even the 17-55 has severe zoom creep and uneven 'tigheness' on the zoom ring).
Hows the distortion like for you guys? it sometimes appears more obvious at times and not so obvious other times haha. there was one photo that looked like it had sort almost had a fisheye effect
