[ Showcase ] - Images from Olympus Micro 4/3 cameras

I am shocked at how good your cats look... The details and they are so... wow. Love this set.

You should make a coffee table book of your cats. Or print a compilation of their pics. I love the black and white fella in the second pic. He looks so grumpy. ha ha ha...
Thanks.
You think he looks like this guy... the famous Grumpy Cat ?

This Siamese looks more like those Ah Pek who got conned of their CPF money... ha ha ha...

A prime example of why any lens can be used to make great images. I love the perspective of this shot.

Indeed. cant imagine its taken from the humble 12-50 that many people dismissed.

Taken with OMD EM-5 and P12-35.
Did not bring along any tripod and thus most of the shots were taken with the camera placed on railings/ledge using manual shutter release.
No post processing done except cropping to remove the ledge/railing that appeared in the picture :)

f20, 20s, 12mm

f22, 20s, 12mm

f22, 25s, 12mm
The green streak was caused by a river cruise sailing by.

f14, 15s, 12mm
Had to shorten the exposure time and open up the aperture slightly due to "not so stable" platform. haha

Wow those are really nice shots, have no try taking long exposure time using my EP5 though, really needs to try it out someday.

Cats by the E-M1 and MZD 60mm f/2.8 Macro

1/20s f/4.5 at 60.0mm ISO 200

These shots showed that the IBIS of the E-M1 is really effective. I have had much more problem taking similar handheld shots of my cats in the same location and lighting condition with the E-M5 in the past.
