Using a Nikon Field Scope, and shooting through with OMD with 12-50mm in Macro mode. The object cannot be seen with the naked eye and with the field scope (48-60x magnification) pulls the image in. I normally use the field scope for shooting (checking target) but since it was a sunny day, I used it for digiscoping instead. It worked quite well. Now I intend to get a strong tripod for this. And a proper mounting system if available.

if i'm not wrong, digiscope refers to shooting through a spotting scope. basically you attach a camera to a spotting scope and shoot. hence the 4km distance
Makes me wonder if the new Olympus 75mm can match/ be better than this...
