Not forgetting to give credit to Pan 25mm f1.4 summilux. The bokeh is, solid!

Taken in my car, maximizing f1.4mm for clean bokeh. Ignore the dirty windscreen.

try this...
with aperature at the smallest f22, the lights will give a nice star burst effect

Can somebody tell me where to get OMD? I called all the local shop, they said no stk....

Was at artworkfoto weekend still hv black set, call them to check friendly people there

I believe they do have the black units. Not silver though. When I walked in yesterday mine was the first silver unit they've come into contact with.

Some humble pics from my holiday trip in Europe. All taken with OMD kit lens (12-50mm)

to be honest , my 5D jpeg is alot better than OM-D but i love using the OM D. Its a compact camera on steroids.

I like to be honest , the image quality not as good as my M8 and my 5D in terms of micro contrast, details and lens..

Totally agree.. I did testing against my D7000+nikkor lenses.. The IQ of OM-D(especially the dark tones and details) is not as good as the APS-C and FF players... But hack..... I still love my OM-D... It is really a very fun and responsive camera to play with... It makes you wanna take pictures and enjoy the process...

Haha looking for trouble in Micro 4/3 section, I am sure pure 4/3 user will rebuke back. I am neutral for now as my OMD is only 2 days old but i love OMD as well as my long served D700.
Just 1 question, did you compare pictures taken from similar category of lens? I got a 25mm f1.4 summilux attached to my OMD and the IQ is comparable to my 50mm f1.4afd on D700. Comparable does not mean better, but i like both.

I think the problem is the same for 35mm film vs medium format. For the same field of view, you are compressing image information into two different sizes. The smaller the sensor, the heavier the compression. Information will inevitably be lost. Hence the difference in tonality etc.

Yes I did.. If is prime versus prime the iq is about the same but I still prefer the richer tone and details of my d7000(not a big problem as I can pp the OMD pics to get similar results later). But if you compare using basic kit lens, the d7000 wins big big - better iq and details. But of cos, it is not a very fair comparison though.. Cos the glasses use are still different.. Anyhow, I am very impressive with this OMD camera. Very responsive and fun.. Perfect for streets and travel.. . But to convince me to give up dslr completely maybe not possible now.. I love both systems..
