I know the 4th pix should be chateau de chenonceau in Loire valley France. There are lots of nice chateau or castle in Loire valley.

art filter

How fast is the OMD processing art filters compared to the E-PL2 for example? I can remember my PEN Lite 2 was horrible slow when using some of the art filters.

Not too bad IMHO. Last week a bunch of us spent some hours doing art filter shooting. I did not have my silver E-M5 at that time and loaned one.

I was using a Transcent Class 10 shooting only max res JPGs. Occasionally after shooting a photo, the write indicator does flash for 3-5 seconds at the longest.

However, I did not have to wait for the card to finish writing to continue snapping away. I could take quite a number of filtered photos in succession perhaps due to decent buffer on the camera?

The only time I had to wait was when using the high shutter speed to take 9-11 shoots per second and I held the shutter for on for about 3 seconds. Took nearly 10 seconds to finish writing and I had to wait.

Update: Oh, after finish writing this long chunk it occurs to me that you might be asking about the response of the live view you see in the EVF or LCD when applying filters. Don't worry. I find it quite fast and responsive.

I try to see if I can dig out some info tomorrow. Usually when I join tour group, I go with a relax mind, dun even read up where I am visiting.

Hi Kim1972, that's a good relaxing approach to holiday man! Usually, I ended up looking out for my kids' safety and looking out for my wife for the safety of my wallet! In any case, thanks in advance but if too troublesome, don't worry about it.

It's ca, quite normal when you have an extreme contrast between bright and dark edges. Already pretty well controlled on the lens I would say

Hi Kim1972 - thanks a million for the information.

Hi Subzero - thanks for your response too :)
