Thanks, yes, minor post processed tonal balance.

Blur however is from the lens itself ...

Here is another version from a bit further away from him, more monochromatic ...

Further

Better to shoot in color as usual and convert to B&W. Lots of photoshop actions for all kinds of B&W, even Lightroom and Photoshop have their own B&W presets.

But if you insist on shooting B&W jpegs, change the Natural setting to Monotone ...
