Guys, need help.

Umm, in K-x whenever I press the dust removal, the body will vibrate. But my K-5 doesnt do that so I didnt know did it activate or not coz when I pressed it, it was silence. Also there is this "krrrk"sound whenever I ON it and when it was on power saving mode, I pressed shutter and it sounded again. I seriously thought its stuck or what.

Dunno if K-7 has this also at least I can have a peace of mind.lol

K-x removes dusts by vibrations. K-7 and 5 remove by sonic waves. Read somewhere in the manual before.

Should be fine , my k-7 also has the same "quirks"

The sensor cleaning on the k-5 and k-7 is "better" in that it uses a supersonic filter instead of just shaking the sensor

Heheh, sorry I didn't replied you last night. In already sleeping heheh.

It should be okay just like others told you. K7 k5 dust removal is much effective than kx though sound is faint.

Yeah, I read it while google. Phew. I thought spoilt. hahaha.

But I think I got to use the ol'blower coz the bloody dust very hard to take out and I cant even see it with eyes but my Pic and Dust Alert detected it. :|

I aquired this Pentax ME with the dented prism in a lot of photo equipment that I purchased. I was really surprised that after having received so much damage, the ME not only functioned but the light meter was still accurate.

I asked the seller what happened and was told that he had purchased the camera for his sister-in-law. She, however, found it too complicated and never used it. Fifteen years after she received it, she had completely forgotten about it. She was cleaning her junk closet when she accidentally knocked it off the shelf. It crashed to the floor and completely shattered the attached filter. The lens was undamaged but the prism and hot shoe were dented.

I have known for a long time that Pentax cameras were tough but I had no idea they were that tough.

My FA50 is gaffered like yours. Somehow the barrel is the width of the standard 1inch gaffer!
