im just saying the lightstand they provided cannot support the weight of the softbox

what we are talking abt here are the softboxes for flash bro...

fwah is that a tank!?

yup.....:bsmilie: Done with a 45 kVA jenny, with 4 Arri Freshnel 5000w, a lot of heavy stands, can't remember how many monoblocs, a few 4X4 reflectors, a lot of grips, some maths to calculate Arri vs strobes... and a lot of sweat and crew!

Since it's continuous lights, we either use ND to cut if it's too hot, or shift the lights manually. The 1000k flash won't hold up against its big bros(5000k), so we gotta manually burst it to balance it back up...

Wanted to use the diagram thingy, but I guess there's no icon I could use to represent what I have done....

5000W!?!? i hope the place has strong aircon.

Could just invert the lights, get a pan and start stir frying..:bsmilie:

i think the smell is enough to turn me off eating. lol.

btw is there any reason to use the arri instead of maybe hmi?

The only reason would be that HMI cost 3 times more.... I reckon it's more worth saving up the moolah and use full CT instead...

While we wait for the tank photo to be posted, here's my modest contribution.

Light modifier is a ring-light (not flash), attached to the lens. Bought it from fellow Clubsnapper Castwind who does some sales on the mass sale thread.
