haha bro, you should see joey l's trip to the mentawai ppl in sumatra. he brought his lights and giant octoboxs and powerpacks and they carried them through jungles, marshes until they reach the village. very power but results also very power.

Yo ! you are right , Joel L's video and pictures were great .
Noticed he was using the profoto 7B battery pack for his ambient light mix.
This baby is 11.5 kg . need a strong assistant.

that light is from a 580EXII facing the wall in lumiquest SBIII.
 

with so many flashes, did you test the flash one by one or its on TTL mode PW?

all on manual my plus IIs don't have ttl. :cry:
hehe not many la. it's actually 2 light setup.

only thing is 2 photos both with different set ups. ;p
 

just wanted to get this thread going, i'm always looking forward to other people's light setup and results. anyways here's my simple home light setup

1 key light with octa
1 grided reflector for rim light
1 speedlight 1/4 bounced to ceiling for fill
