sharing a setup I did for a conceptual shoot with some friends..





SB-800 with CTB gel high up and back, shooting into the tree to give some shadow texture, SB-600 with CTO gel directly below my position to light the subjects, another 430EXII with dark green gel on the right to give that green highlight separation.

Hehe. I stole it from my mum and dad's wardrobe. ;p Not really full length, slightly smaller.

pardon me but...how do u pair up 2 flashes of different brands together?
any particular reasons for doing so?

I believe he uses wireless triggers to do so. No TTL, all manual.

Hi,

I would like to share a few shots of the shoot we did at Tuas beach. Only One light.

Just got myself a Jinbei Softbox this week which I will use this saturday for 3 model shoot at fort canning..I will post some shots of the lighting.

yup, with my new Cactus V4..


these.. would prob post a small review here soon, its an improved version of the Cactus V2s aka PT-04tm that were my previous triggers..

4 light setup.. Vivitar 285HV at 1/16th power into shoot-thru umbrella held high left, SB-800 at 1/32th power into softbox right, 430EXII on street lamp behind at 1/64th power, SB-600 with lavender gel way back left at 1/32th power. Triggered via Cactus V4, SB-800 on SU-4 mode.

wah! how can i miss out the fun? haha.

this shoot is pretty ancient, trying to take some dude doing bouldering indoors, off camera flash will be a good idea.

the place is filled with mattresses, and with no assistants available, the clamp + magic arm becomes the best option :thumbsup:
