Wow............ This lens is extremely rare....... How can you get this lens~? As a Canon rangefinder fans,I am also eager to own one. Haha.... Or maybe I am dreaming.....
rare ? let me tell you what is rare...a hood for 50m/f1.4 which is 48mm....
.... and i have a rubber hood in case anyone interested....
Indeed doc, 35/1.5 is not rare and no way near 48 pieces. Its easily more than 48 hundred pieces made.
The 35/1.4 is a prototype that did not make it to mass production, is that right? I vaguely recall Benny asking about this...

I actually got it for our Canon Guru, Benny a while ago. It's with him now.
Yes it's a prototype, the focal length is not even inscribed on the ring in the front.
haha is there anything Canon that the MAN doesn't already have?

jonmanjiro said:That's the hood in this photo by gommy, right? I found several of those while searching for a clip on hood for my black Nikkor-P 8.5cm f2 lens, but could not find the correct black clip-on hood for the Nikkor anywhere. Ended up persuading a camera shop in the Ginza to sell me the one from the Nikkor-P 8.5cm f2 black they had displayed in the window
