I posted this shot over at RFF, but why not post it here as well ;)

Taken at Sankyo Camera in the Ginza (I counted 95 Nikon rangfinders in this cabinet). They've got a good range of Canon RF gear too, but I was so blown away by the number of Nikon RFs that I forgot to take a photo of the Canon RF gear.

P.S. Click on the photo to see a larger version.

Amazing... they are one amazing company... one shop only selling Japanese old-skool RF and SLR gears and the other shop only selling European gears... My favourite shops at the Ginza area. :)

er........ I think "admire and appreciate each other's RF gear" sound much, much more appropriate.

Cheers,

tested my canon 50 f1.4 ltm against my 35 summilux f1.4 pre-asph. The canon is all scratched up but still renders a lovely bokeh wide-open. Now i know why i love 50mm so much.

The correct cap is the black plastic Canon cap. I use the Heliopan UV 40mm.

Not easy to get in Singapore. I got mine from eBay. Is a marumi 40mm UV Haze. As for lens cap, you can just buy E39 lens cap from eBay too, it fits.

:)

You're right bro. I should have bought a M8 in the first place. Haha!! No lah.. didn't regret having the M2 and MP. The beauty of it all is I don't lose much in these transactions. I've essentially played with these gears for free.

Here's my M8.

I know there is still one piece of NOS original canon 40mm filter hiding somewhere here in SG. Don't think that guy is going to sell it tho.

Anyway, if you don't mind, you can use a heavystar40-40.5 adaptor (othersize also have IIRC, search eBay). Not so swee but works fine.

I wish..., but no, too rich for my blood (literally and figuratively).
