for some reason the recent batch don't come with extra battery & Olympus DSLR bag anymore... hmmm....
Meaning that no more extra battery?

nope, slightly more ex, 968 but with all the original freebies, I think it's worth it, I asked alan photo, 910 but no freebies, for 58 more I get the olympus bag plus the extra battery which is worth 70+ plus 1 more class 4 8gb card and a dry box...
so the freebies are ???
1) an olympus bag
2) extra battery
3) extra 8gb SD card
4) dry box
still not bad lah.

I think so too, even if I got from ms color for 899, the extra original battery will easily cost me 70 and the original bag le...
Just bought the EPL-1 from Harvey Norman at Funan today. Package includes:
1) body
2) single zoom 14-42
3) 2 8gb cards
4) extra olympus battery
5) UV filter (took this instead of tripod)
6) camera bag
7) some vouchers (they offered this as they did not have black, took champagne gold instead)
Price: $948 which I thought was pretty good.. bought from Vincent

wah, same freebies but $20 lower. okay, I am going to complain to courts that harvey norman is lower and with same freebies
I wouldn't recommend that, they sometimes have attitude, I brought my sister to buy her camera, they didn't bother to serve me,when I enquire if there were freebies,they only answer "NO! DON'T HAVE!" end up went to Best Denki cause it was CNY eve and Harvey Norman was closed

Its ok, most likely they might say something like "We thank you for your e-mail and we seek your understanding that each business is unique and this is how we run our business" which translated to me is "Ah whatever,your problem,I don't care you" :bsmilie:, please take what I say with a lot of doubts, because that is just what I think

They might have tricks up their sleeves,such as one that I particular like to use to disturb my friends with "Terms and conditions might change without warning to anyone before hand" or something like that :bsmilie: but yea,there is always something up their sleeves so good luck with what you're doing
