Well, i can't promise when you will know but as the day draw closer, there might be a chance that someone might be unable to make it and give up his slot.

Well, the game will take place at Orchid Country Club. It's a likely scenario that everyone will have to make their way there by themselves unless they know someone is driving and is willing to let you hitch a ride.

:)

Good news:

You are allowed to bring your photographic gear into the combat arena but neither the paintball organiser or myself are liable for any form of damage to your equipment. Bring it in at your own risk.

Cheers! :)

Maybe we can wear a video recorder on our head, like they did in fear factor.. ;)

There is a regular (every 10-15mins) Shuttle service between Yishun MRT and Orchid Country Club.

Ok guys, just a question, able to bring a guy in as a "watcher", he not playing anything just there to see see look look?

*maybe can help us record the event on that day.*
Oh.. he not 18 yet...... so can't play oso... :P

Yes, you can bring a watcher but he is not allowed to go into the arena since he is unable to sign the waiver form since he is under 18.

Nope.. the watcher/observer is standing outside the arena and there is a green wire mesh seperating the player/observer. It is quite unlikely that anyone can be struck by a paintball (although the odd accident might happen  )

Sorry to hi-jack, but my question has some relevance to interested photogs attending your shoot-out. Someone posted some pics of a paintball game which appear to have been taken from a higher elevation. Anybody know if there is some sort of observation tower/deck within the play area where a photographer might be able to shoot (pictures) safely? Or do you have to do it at ground level?

Cheers,

Cheers,

There is a step ladder in the arena for the referees and i believe photographers are allowed to use it as a photographic vantage point althought i would need to double check. And no, there is no "safe" location as paint balls will be whizzing all over and there is always a likely chance that a stray ball might hit you or your gear.

Remember, A paintball is fired out of the gun @ 328 km/h and it's very likely to damage your lense and the resulting paint getting into your camera is also a risk you need to consider.

The only safe area is the observation tent. It is situated outside the firing arena and protected by a thick green wire mesh which would make shooting through it pointless.

And if the person is on the perch, he cannot be playing in the on-going game.

Remember, photographic gear/handphone, necklaces/jewellery or anything else for that matter are brought in at your own risk.
