I'm trying out something with my trusty old cam. Pushing its ISO to max thus giving grainy texture on the photo. After processing it, is it necessary to add Sharpening to the photo? Will Sharpening sharpens the grainy effects?
Depends on your taste, and what do you find pleasant aesthetically? sharpening will also sharpen the noise, no doubt, unless you apply noise ninja or the sort

If you find the photograph too soft, one method of doing it is to sharpen it, and layer the sharpened layer on top of the non-sharpened layer, and erase to only ensure the lines that you want are sharp. This would improve the sharpness of the photograph while avoiding unnecesasarily introducing noise on the parts where you don't need the sharpening... It will take some time if you want to do it properly though.
