i like this one... look like zebra le... nice nice
Thanks blurboiboi for your liking. :)
Shot this "zebra" when it was drizzling. It was difficult to get a suitable shooting angle.

Andy,

Thank you for sharing you butterfly shots with us.

You have a good shot of the Common Evening Brown, BTW it is not that common nowadays and can only be found on a few locations in Singapore.

I like the perch, framing and clarity of the Psyche shot. Although it is a common butterfly, but it is rare to find this butt resting, one can fall asleep waiting for this butt to rest .
Thanks BlueSteel for kind words. Still have a lot to learn from you.
btw Congratulation to you for winning the naturescape.net award.

is this a Lebadea martha parkeri (The Knight):

hi henry... nice shots!!!....
u seem to be always able to get nice clean bright back ground... may i know where you shoot your butts in??

the yellow butt is from my rooftop plants, the other two up in a tree at mandai orchid garden. the yellow butts visit my plants almost every day. i use to think that they are orange emigrant but i am begining to think that it is a different specie. what do you think?

Henry, I think they are orange emigrant :)

Henry, I think they are orange emigrant :)

Their upper side is dominent in white, right.? From my knowledge, they are medium in size about 1.5 to 2 inch with their wings closed.
