This is a nice motion shot of a ovipositing female Great Mormon on the pomelo leaf. The slight blur of the flapping fore wing imparts motion to the picture.

To freeze the wings of its non-stop flapping of the wings , you need at least 1/500 sec.

Thank you for sharing you butterfly shots with us.

You have a good shot of the Common Evening Brown, BTW it is not that common nowadays and can only be found on a few locations in Singapore.

I like the perch, framing and clarity of the Psyche shot. Although it is a common butterfly, but it is rare to find this butt resting, one can fall asleep waiting for this butt to rest .
