Will you buy the 100-400 IS USM lens if you struck grand prize in TOTO today?

urmmmm...do you really need that big a copyright logo? doubt anyone will steal your pictures here.

Haha. :bsmilie:
Nevertheless big time zoom here. even the plane appear to be that big.
Is it the max mm u use to take the plane from ground?

thanks.

voted 'no' here. lol:bsmilie: ur copyright thingy make me lol. lol.:bsmilie::bsmilie:

NO! coz im not craving for this lens. and winning the TOTO means i can now afford 400/2.8L IS or even 600/4L IS...

Yeah ! Agree.

Why 'destroy' your picture with such a BIG copyright mark and in the middle of the picture.
Such a waste .....

I vote no because I already own one :bsmilie:

And yes.... no regards. But if I do hit TOTO.... I'll get 600mm f4 L for no other reason than loving it BIG. :bsmilie:

Suggest you try the 100-400mm at the zoo.... the best way to shoot White Tiger for me.

I will...cos no money I need toto :D haha
BTW prefer your pics without the big Copyright logo - it gets in the way

When you need a zoom with reach, this is pretty useful but does have it's limitations.

ha...okie!

i voted no because I don't need to win toto to buy this good and versatile lens if i need it :) shall post some samples when i have the time, only sold the lens when i had a short fling with the Nikon FX system, haven't had a chance to buy it again yet since i came back to canon :D

hehe... yeah a proud canon shooter ritee! :D

I was too lazy to re-resize and re-watermark the images, so I just copied them from my site. And I needed something that will not disappear when one crops, etc...

No, not the max focal length... If I set to 400mm I might be able to see the passengers for some of the pics or a potrait of the waterboarders :D

cool. thanks...

I did ever consider and was still considering until i saw the pictures you posted. That set me to wonder harder.

But I am sure the lens is capable to produce much much better pictures than what has been posted. Good thing another CS members posted links to another site with a different set of pictures taken with the same lens.

Yeah, I am sure that the lens can have better pics than this... with a tripod. I forgot to bring my tripod that day, so I had to hold using my bare hands, and the feeling is very bad... :(

use a tablet pen to write instead of your mouse...............

some shots to share, taken with the 100-400:

I would get the 400/2.8 instead. :bsmilie:

If its all about the zoom and i do strike toto big time, i will go get myself one of these:
