Thanks! I've grown to like the 25mm as well... No major tweaks just WB, contrast, dodging and burning, etc in Lightroom. Takes about 2-5mins per photo.
I think the film I'm using, being consumer grade, tend to be more saturated by nature but at the expense of grain. The grain even on the 200 is quite obvious, but these are only for my own kick, and will at most be printed at 4R so I don't really mind.
The other colour negative I use is PortaVC, but that has slightly more muted colours and are a fair bit more expensive than the Gold and Ultramax.
I also find that the Gold and Ultramax seem to be more forgiving (exposure wise) than other negatives I've tried. I tend to shoot relatively quickly with my bessa, so I usually just let the camera do the calculating for me, and the negs generally hold up pretty well in most situations.

Given the sudden death problem with M8, I will not take my chances. Besides, she may actually find out how much it cost when she's approached by someone who knows Leica when she's in Taiwan. Haha!!! I am tempted to get her a GF1 or EP2.

wa lau, I havent reach my mentor standard, his blur photos also look better than me, that is call the real master :thumbsup:
I use red filter for the pictures, si beh ho liao, $35 only but picture contrast become kaokao, si beh shoik, best upgrade I bought so far! :thumbsup:
