I started with canon SLR than RF.
I try Red, Dark Orange, Yellow, PL, ND2 and ND4 and Green on B&W.
Personal like green the most. Yellow is nice to not too strong. Just nice. :thumbsup:

Green filter with Pan f 50. (Canon SLR wide open at f1.2)

Yellow filter / mamiya c220 /lucky 100 / rodinal.

Never sharpen or add anything on both pictures.
Just light adjustment on the exposure and brightness in iPhoto.
I would say yellow is more a portrait filter than the rest.

Depending on the subject color...contrast filters will have the following effects on B&W...
A green filter will darken red and blue, will lighten red and green
A red filter will darken green and blue, will lighten red and yellow
A yellow filter will darken blue, will lighten red and green
A blue filter will darken yellow and red, will lighten green and blue

35 1.8 Canon?! Heard that's a really rare lens Congrats n nice shots.

Bro, thank you...Canon 35 f1.8 is not rare lens...should be able to get easily...got mine in ebay from a seller in UK...

The characteristic of this lens wide open...here are some shots...

Wide open on M8.2, center is very sharp like ASPH and soften rapidly as it goes to side
