another shot that is making my wallet very nervous.... nice job, although it doesnt take a lot to tempt me...:bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

The Canon 50mm F1.2 is quite soft wide open, but stop down to F4, its pretty sharp

That was what I thought about the Canon50mmf1.2 until I got this last copy. I always love the Canon50f1.2. Passed my original copy to a friend as he kept 'blaggering' me for it after we went out for a shoot last Christmas. Found myself another one a few weeks ago & realised that this one is mighty sharp wide open & contrast is not that soft especially if you've nailed the focus. This copy that I have now actually front-focuses just that tiny bit which I can compensate for.
