Haha. Well back to the topic. Great use in the first two shots to ensure very little sight of the flash. Which flash were you using? Settings and all? :)

Nikon SB-30. lovely little thing perfect for the M.

Actually commenting about someone's poor use of English falls along the same line as commenting about poor use of gear in a photo, unless you're a petty 7 yr old it's just a comment.

It actually reminds me of those Thorsten Overgaard photos

It may be of your opinion that a certain photographer may not be up to your standard, not good enough to be associated with a particular red dot etc but this being a public forum, the least we should expect is some basic net etiquette here.

Riotbmx, nothing personal but its really a little overboard and not cool to do that in a forum. I guess some form of respect is still required.

Anyway this thread is meant for sharing of pics so let's continue to share our pics here...

I've never said that he is not good enough to be associated with the company that holds the red dot, but I do find it strange that the red dot has an association with him. I don't know about standards of a photo, I'm really new at making photos so being a newbie I suppose the standards of my photos are just as bad as my English. But unless there's somebody that you dislike in the group photo, you prolly wouldn't want to leave them out of focus. And it's a constructive comment in case you're wondering

Leica RF newbie here. Rented the M9 for one day last month to experience the true RF shooting. Randomly shooting around to learn more about the camera. I must say I really enjoy the RF experience

Thanks.

Night, 35mm ASPH, ISO 400 B&W film ...yeah, all you need really. My Nokton 35/1.2 II sees little action these days because I'd rather lug around my 35mm ASPH.

Do you push your Tri-X at all? Or shoot it at ISO 400?

I shot the roll rated at 400, dev in HC-110 (1+100) 1hr stand 20degC.

I had the Nokton 35 1.2 V1 as well, but sold it mainly because of the size/weight, but I now think my chrome asph actually weighs more.. lol.

Be it strange or not, these are commercial decisions within Leica. There's no point in going there...

As for Jon's group shot at the bar, I certainly don't think its about having a dislike for anybody. Look at the low lighting, iso400 film, at f1.2 its probably 1/30. What do you do?
