Something just feels so invigorating in the last shot. Love it.

i might have posted this picture awhile back in on of the "Share Some RF Shots XX" page but i recently obtained a Plustek 8200i SE Scanner and rescanned some old negatives and the difference is really an eye opener for me. it has actually made me gain more interest in shooting film again because previously i have to go through the hassle of loading film, developing..paying money to get them scanned at a crappy resolution and quality (i know that doesn't have to be the case but i don't have the $$$ to scan at the more well known and higher quality places). but now i have better quality scans and images than my digital camera (subjective..maybe) and film is worth the hassle again :)

the difference is night and day to me...this picture was taken using my Bessa R3M with Nokton f1.4

the old scanned jpeg from the shop

the same image but scanned using the Plustek

don't know if it is obvious when viewed here but to me the scanned image is sharper with more detail than the scan from the shop...colors are more correct too. usually the colors from the shop are quite off and even after color balancing it is still quite off...

Guess who I bumped into at Gardens by The Bay this morning? None other than his Royal Highness Prince William!
