All good stuff... but this one would look better with the bottom black bar cropped off... then blown up to a wall sized print.. ;p

this one should to be a 645 format.
the bottom black was the shadow, taken juz before the shadow overcome the entire areas when the sun was setting down.

Really nice stuff boochap. Love your ppl shots

breathtaking pic!
it has an almost digital quality to it... what cam was used?
metering done by cam or hand-held meter?
lastly, what scanner was used?

Schneider Super Angulon, V700......hhhmmm.

ibs

good shot.
got the mood. make people want to go to kelong.

Can it be Horseman or Noblex?
Anyway does not matter whether the shot was taken with an expensive camera/lens or a simple camera. A skillful photog may have taken it with 6x6 4th hand cheap Seagull TLR and crop top and bottom of frame; and still produce a great shot.

The macro shots at the Botanical Gardens is so sharp, it hurts my eyes just looking at it!

When printed on paper, it will not be just sharp, but so REAL that you can feel the leaf..
:)

Ohhhh, this kind of ansel adam inspired shot certainly deserves the darkroom print on wall size paper.:bsmilie:

But it took me 1 hour or so to burn and dodge in PS twice.. print on paper would take days???

Taken a few months ago with Rolleiflex at Ponggol.

Almost wanted to throw it away, as i was running out of idea how to get the lonely tree constrast again the cloudy sky. Striked with a rare moment of inspiration last night... this was the result. :bsmilie:
