Hi,

How do you scan these photos? Which scannar?

Hi, Woyap,

The coloured ones were scanned by Colourlab, I think it's part of their new service when developing. $15+ for the whole roll. Will scan them myself next time, though, although $15+ is a good price I think, but I give them 6 to 10 rolls each visit, might as well save some scanning fees to buy more film :). Or let them scan what is most important. Have to tell them to watch out for the skin tones, though.

For the B&W, I scanned with a Canoscan 9950F. Average to ok with MF, very poor with 35mm. I think an Epson V700 will be better. Of course, the actual print is what makes MF or even 35mm worth it.

For 2nd and 5th B&W, scanned from print, and 4th pic from negative.

What is the model of your Rollei again ? Those prints of yours were fantastic.

Seagulls, Shanghais, Pinholes, Great Wall, etc ... first time I'm seeing shots from these, very nice  . I know these scans can't compare at all to the prints, but it still is enlightening ...
