is the extension tube THAT must to have for closeups ah?



basket i see all the nice pictures u guys post, especially macros and those beauty shots....

all machiam like use extension tube!

... u mean the makro planar cannot achieve that meh?

Plsoong, I use extension tubes because I can't afford another macro lens :bsmilie:

But, you may still need some for Makro-Planar, depending on the application and result needed. See here :

Nice! Somehow I like the way the lens renders the out of focus... very smooth!

The wonders of MF and its bokeh...

mamiya c200 tlr + 135/4.5. kodak ektachrome e100g (cross processed). lens is really nice!

managed to squeeze in extra half frame at the front. masking tape on film makes nice pattern.
