Share some LF photos...

This was one of my first few shots taken when I just started LF. Didn't know that the shutter speed of this lens was not accurate. The experience of climbing inside with LF gear was an experience. If I ever had the chance, I would want to take more pictures of this place.

Patrick, how did you get in? I thought this place was totally demolished. I still have some Fuji 6X9 pictures taken there.

Sad huh, the place has become a slump. It used to be a multi billion Tourism Hot Spot.

It was taken awhile ago in 2007, went it through some fence. The way it slumped really makes it looks like an ancient city. I rem we used the LF to take a grp photo inside the theater, there were bats inside. My photo has some strange ghosting marks on some of the people face only. I could not explain it for a long time other than to attribute to super natural forces. Later I realised it was light leak that "leak" very nicely to a shadow of what looks like a face. Super scared.

This is a tough shot, get the sky, miss the rock... get the rock and you miss the sky. Not easy..
I am sure the actual slides looks much better..

Thanks for sharing. Mine look like yours but only taking about 20% of the center area... ha ha.
Was using the 180mm lens. 100mm should have no vignetting, the corner areas are just underexposed.....

I want to revisit using the Scheneider 90mm again....

Yup, the corners are underexposed. What was the exposure time for this? You have to factor in film reciprocity ratings. That's why my long exposures always have very heavy vignetting.

can't remember the shutter speed i use..i think it was only 1/2 sec.
i also believe this nikon 100mm lens has a very small image circle..once i close down the aperture, the vignetting will be obvious.

i believe yr center filter is more expensive than my nikon 100W lens

Z-Guy, if your Nikkor is a Nikkor M on the lens marking, then it will explain why.

The Nikkor M is meant for 6X9 photography, and image circle is for 6X9.
I found out that the Schneider 90mm 6.8 has a bigger coverage that it. The Wollensock or Ektar 90mm also are better.

(If you do not want the lens please let me know, I shoot 6X9.
I found out a bitter truth that most LF 90mm are much better than the Fujinon 90mm 3.5 on the Fuji 690)

But you said it is a Nikkor W. If it is a Nikkor W 100mm then its a lens to keep.

it is marked as Nikkor W 100m. but there isn't much information about it when i googled for it previously. it probably is a old lens and got replaced by the Nikkor W 105mm. There is a thread here on LF Nikkor-W 100mm - Large Format Photography Forum mentioning it was more to be used as a normal lens rather than wide angle lens . Another posted that it is more for 6x9.
