the thing is the old thread u all refer to was talking about how the organizers market their shoots not how the model or photogs behave at the said shoots le...

If CS is sleazy, then Stomp is the breeding ground for cavemen.
In Japan, Taiwan and HK there are lots more of these XMM shoots, and even Idol XMM shoots (check out Dannychoo.com where he went on one). The faux-moral outrage the TNP is having is laughable, and the reporting is flimsy. Tmr, all will be forgotten anyway.
But the fact remains that the people TNP describes does exist here. But last time I checked, being horny wasn't a crime.

I have a question to ask.
Does anybody have an inkling or some sort of idea who exactly is the CSer who talked to the reporter/journalist/paparazzi/spy or whatever you wanna call him? I mean, based on the account of the TNP, seems that the CSer showed him some pics.
If that is the case, does the CSer know what he is up against? Or he already knows that somehow, a reporter/journalist/paparazzi/spy is in the mix, and the seemingly innocent act of showing the pics is all part of the game?
To extend this even one of the lawyers said that prima facie, nothing seems wrong based on the account the CSer or reporter/journalist/paparazzi/spy. In other words, someone in the group must have either known something but just STFU about the whole thing, or he was just plain innocent and do not know about it until today, which I find it a little difficult to believe.:hung:

ClubSNAP Admins and Mods will definately be doing something about it. We have already have plans for the section to be "revamp" a few weeks ago.
I just hope this incident will wake some members up.
well. taking it personally.
i said a few years back about the hordes of photographers massing on event shoots and etc etc.... well... i must say. somethings NEVER change, because they felt that they are not affected, and they shouldnt care, their ego come first, and they would think they are right in the first place. i wouldnt blame them. this is a "free" society.
ClubSNAP's image as a photography forum was greatly improved because of PM LEE's message about ClubSNAP being a forum to bring together people of similar interests together and etc etc.
But yet and again, time and again, people/members forget that we all, members admins and mods all play a part in making sure and to maintain that good reputation of CS.
well. enough of my 2 cents. i guess what is neccessary now is that people learn their lesson and life should go on.
Admins and mods will be looking into this issue very soon. thats a guarantee.

he do not need to be even a spy. he can be a journalist from the start.
which is nothing wrong basically. so i guess blaming them is very unfair, they are doing the job of a journalist, reporting news and articles. what happens is that there isnt a background check (which was unnecessary) well.... i rather we see how we can solve this issue rather then just blaming members here and there ok ?night86mare

not that the admins or mods ignored. as the admins seek for a win win situation for everyone, i guess it takes time to come up with a good and proper system.
well. no matter how good a system is, people will take advantage of the grey areas and play around with it.
some people do not appreciate how much effort and time from the admins and mods has been put into cs. and before you know it. all these efforts go into the drain when some black sheep decides to ruin it.
i mean no point to probe what happened in the past, but what we can do is to come together and stand up and help cs.

how can it be easy to run any community involving more than 10 people? i know the work that has been put in, but i thought that a harder line could be taken across the board.
that said, maybe things will change now.. understandably it takes two hands to clap; but i think it is not hard to see why most of the onus lies on the mod/admin team rather than the population - one could argue that if there is no demand there is no supply; but if the supply is cut off, demand will die and the black sheep you speak of might die a cold,lonely death
then again, i don't think nude shots should be banned here, and i also do not think that most of the organisers care enough to see past the dollar do filter serious candidates from non-serious ones. it is really a conundrum sometimes.

because questions are repeated, over and over again, they got sick of answering, so they sit back and let others do the answering.
and we have some amatuers with who are extremely egoistic. so. full timers / pros will just sit back and enjoy the show, and not bother to waste time here.
so from interacting and making new friends, they would rather spend time thinking how to shoot better, deliver better, and of course.... be happy rather den contribute and some egoistic wannabe come and shoot his comment / contribution down.
