Sorry to the TS as I think I may have started this string of OT. Maybe Blazer_workz may want to start a new thread in the proper sub-forum.

In my opinion, I think it is okay. Since the TS has achieved his initial objective, I dun think he would mind a technical discussion for all to learn. I find this thread more meaningful than some of the threads who are under fire at the moment

Sorry to TS. This will be my last OT here.

To each their own.
For me I just feel that the topic and the title should be the same if not than it will just be between just a few person so might as well do it by PM.
Others may have better opinion than just the few of us but may not know about it here due to the title. Anyway, so long as we can stand by our postings and be prepared to accept that we may be wrong or at least, agreed to disagreed, we should be fine.

that's bad, you need to make the photo a little bit bad (low resolution), then tell your boss to invest in a D200, so that you can take better pictures in future. good idea? :)

LOL...good idea...but he will ask me to wait long long ;p

got tripod no worry abt slow shutter? think again.
also, good for u that everything went well.

Are you referring to movement? Well I did few test shots before actual test...no movement blur so its ok. This is the best part of digital photography...can shoot and preview

Its ok....I don't mind learning more if you all can share with me experience and knowledge

What happen to the 100 people group shot? Didn't happen in the end? You won't need to go through all this if you had known from the start it's going to be just 21 people.

He mention this in his earlier post.

"Thanks for above guidance...but if were to use 50mm prime would it allow me to capture 100+ people in coverage??

But anyway tomorrow I am taking group pics of 20+ people only..so shouldn't be much of a prob.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me as well as others. "

Anyway, won't die if he learns something more right. To us 20 + people is chicken feet. But to inexperienced pp, it is a task especially when he needs to do it right only once.

Actually I've done a 100 people group shot before the 20 people. Its also happen suddenly when we were in an outing..then suddenly they want me to use my camera to take for them. In a hurry...i used

f14
ISO 200
1/80
Focal Length 18mm

Picture don't turn out too well for me...not too sharp..but they were still satisifed..thats why they wanted me to take the 20 people pic yesterday :embrass:
