Dear all,
I am new in this forum and a (proud?) owner of a Konica Minolta 5D.
My question to all of you: Does anybody faced a problem as follows: Switch on the cam - first exposure - screen dark - ERR in viewfinder - nothing can be operated. Only switch off or battery take out will help. I have send the camera already 2x to Sony CC Malaysia. Still no improvement - getting even worse and happened much more frequently. Now cannot be used anymore and I am really angry.
In a same forum like this, but only in Germany, I found out that many of the German users of KM 5D/7D experienced the same. I counted ca. 60 posts regarding this issue.
Refering to them it is a manufacturing fault caused by two things:
- Shutter mechanic problem
- AS (Anti Shake) sensor problem
Shocked I have read all those posts and now I want to consider a return of my cam.
Pls. let me know if you have had the same problem and how have you received help.
Did somebody had the problems with an Sony A100 as well??
Your input will help me a lot.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Regards,
Torsten.
