Sub-$900 body...either u can go for used 300D or D30. Think 300D better option. Or there's also the film option. A good condition used EOS 30/33 can be had for ard $400 (or less depending on condition).

yup... 300d suits my budget, but not urgent.
film, i still stick to my trusty eos50e.

Er...last time u mentioned to me before mar? I commented on some of ur sports shots (issit netball or something?).

But really, it is no joke shooting indoor or night time soccer using prosumer DSLR like D70. Very tough lighting conditions, def need fast lens (at least f2.8) and pump ISO to 1600 is the norm. I tried before using my 10D (shoot soccer match) ...only got abt 1 or 2 useable shots out of abt 300 shots. When one side scored goal, by the time my shutter click, can only catch the ball resting in the net... :cry:

Bottomline is, u need a pro body for this kind of work. Especially if you need to deliver the goods at the end of the day.
