Why would there be a need for a 135mm f/2L? It's already FF, it already has a wide aperture, and it's the sharpest (or 2nd sharpest) lens in the Canon lineup, equal to 300mm 2.8L / 200mm 2IS. Come on..

I just got back from HK and did not buy any lens there even though I had planned for it. Shopped the whole Kowloon.

Wing Shing in HK offers the 24-105L for about 100 plus less than Singapore.

What the heck I didnt buy it becos in HK, you cannot spend yr own sweet time to choose the best lens unlike in Singapore. Not worth the risk for that little saving to buy a lemon!

Spend in Singapore, spin our economy!

Generally, the prices has dropped for most of the lenses, but for EF28 f/1.8, it is still holding at S$830 @ MS Colour...

Wondering why?

it's an old lens, i think it's out of production currently. on APS-C, you may want to consider the sigma 30 1.4 (DC) instead, or for FF either the canon 24f2.8 (i think) or 35f2.
