but i didnt realise that a QUICK charger still takes 4 hours to charge 4 * 2100 bat. about 230 mins.. I thought would be faster??? Like the radio control car bat charge in 20 min quick charge?? interesting

Quick enough lar. Coz it cannot pump out enough current mah. 1 or 2 pcs it will be faster, but harsher. I have charged 1 pc by itself before, really F hot. It is for my single pc of battery for use in the 5th battery holder of the SB-800. 55 mins gao liao.

ya i guess they are low amp so cannot push the charge through like RC cars.. well for me ok cos SB600 only need 4 battery so it suits me fine..

I also looked at the sanyo 2300 pack with charger kit, but didnt consider as the charger was PINK colour,,,, so settled for the 2100 batt.. hahaha

but 35-36 sounds cheap for 4 sanyo batteries and a charger. buy 6 more spare, and its only about 50 bucks. What do you guys mean by it gets really hot? the battery itself? i guess we can leave it to cool down. cheap and reliable can liao. haha. prob need 10 batteries for the sb800.

You forgot the flash battery pack, SD-8A, you'll need another 12 (6 for spare) for it! :devil:

ok, just find out what it is. i dont think i will be needing that. too power pack liao. the sb800 will do fine. now for a tripod and a 80-200 lens.
