SB600 for $299!?

eh last check in Pricelist thread, SB600 retail arounf $320 at the stores leh... some more Comex DSLR price selling at RRP, totally not worth it man!

Can share which shop sell at $320?
I was quoted $370 by friendly neighbourhood store

To me, at $299 is a good deal.

Today I go asked two sales person at Nikon but they not agree to sell at $299 leh . One even quote me $445 for that SB-600 :cry: Anyone know which saleperson to approach?

i'm sorry...I dun have his contact. the receipt i got is from challenger. gary is about 1.73~1.76m tall short hair and if not mistaken, he got a mole on his face

$299 for a brand new SB600.... it's a great buy man!! but the nikon booth today was damn crowded.. cant even squeeze my way to ask the sales ppl... will try it again tmr.. the price is damn good.. at least better than wat is offered in the B&S section...

Went to COMEX today early morning.. Talk to a guy from Nikon Booth and ask whether can i buy the flash w/o purchase.. He say cant and i can buy it at $400+.. I walked away and spoke to another lady (slim, long hair) and asked.. She said that I could wait for someone to buy and "lompang" and there is another guy who is also waiting to "lompang".. So I waited and went over to the guy who is oso waiting and stike a conversation.. While talking, the lady came to us and said that we can just buy the flash and got the supervisor to sign it..

So both of us managed to get the flash at 299..

i also asked the same lady on thur.. she told me SB-600 MUST be purchased together with a DSLR...sigh. Luckily I asked another sales staff later, and can get the flash w/o PWP. Somemore can used credit card to pay... hehehe, not by instalment.

I think the price guide at early year was not so accurate bcoz it's before the price hike due to Yen's currency value. I was quoted $380~$395 from Cathay, AP, MS last month.

I suppose it's really a good buy at COMEX, do correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right, it was quoted $370 recently.

Hence, in my opinion $299 is a good deal.
