wrong man.
$1 = 5 packets of instant noodles = 5 breakfast.
$30 = 150 packets of instant noodles = 150 breakfast = 3 months of breakfast.

my sincere advice.... $$ important so as health, too much instant noodle bad for u, i suggest eat bread, better choice isn't it ???. $30 worth of breads should also be able to last u for 3 months of breakfast... ;p

Actually I thought i should bring this up in case anyone else has the same experience
I have found that in my sb 600 when i bring up the diffuser panel the iTTL stops working and the zoom on the flash stays at 14mm all the time
When I use without the diffuser its fine
Perhaps its time get it repaired

staying at 14mm is what it was intended to be (it was meant to diffuse the flash so you can use wider angle lens), but for iTTL you sure it stop working?
RTFM

Yeah, try RTFM, it's a feature, not a bug ;)

When you put diffuser on SB600 or SB800, it will switch the little switch below flash-head to tell the flash that you put a diffuser on it. The flash then will automatically zoom to 24mm (and with diffuser, it become 17mm). You can't change the zoom while using diffuser.

If you want to able to zoom when using diffuser, just make a hole on diffuser, so when you put it on the flash, it will not switch the little switch on flash-head. Don't ask me why some people do it... .

Arto.

People just think they can obatin more reach with a diffused effect with the diffuser on.
But they never think that the flash would need more power (sometimes beyond or at it's limits) to obtain the optimum exposure, and I'm sure they would shoot multiple shots continously.
Even in manual mode, they would need to set the output to a higher value.
This risks the bulb blowing, downtime, time needed to bring into NSC, then more time to go back to collect it, plus the $$.
But hey, there are people wanting to risk it, I agree! :bsmilie:

Thanks for your input
After hearing what you've said I think flash is ok afterall
I was only guessing that iTTL was not working cos with diffuser exposures don't quite turn out right but could be cos not enough power
Glad that there are sp many gurus here who share so readily
