..start to lose interest in processing and posting pictures as well. i'm afraid i'm losing it.

I am so glad...I thought I was the only one getting this 'threatening' symptom!
But I get it very frequently...my condition is definitely much worse..

I always find this kind of lighting extremely tricky. It looks simple enough, but the dynamic range is extremely wide. Did you bracket this shot? It is very well handled: white balance, tone, colour.

no, i dun bracket shots, as i can't dun know how to handle layers. i shot as raw and meter for highlights. i bring back some shadow details when doing raw conversion. colors not initially well done, i went back to remove the yellow cast in the center that is bathed in sunlight, and left the yellow cast in the tunnel

standalone walls (not of buildings with a roof) are common structures in old european towns, to
cut out walkways in hilly locations. i like these algae and weeds that grew on these walls. if i have
a house, i will like the walls to be full of weeds and morning glory.

motion and abstract is not my forte. an accompanying travel mate devise the concept of swirling
the camera on top of a cluster of lighted candle cups, so here's the effect of a smooth one. there
are some slightly jagged one that gives a different feel, but i picked this one if i have to choose
only one among the few
