Samyang 7.5mm 1:3.5 UMC Fish-eye MFT...

Whether kenna GST or not depends mainly on the dealer...

You guys always get the good deals. I really feel like a carrot. Damnit.

BTW, SGCamerastore is not MyMonsterCamera. My mistake. Really confusing. 2 unit number difference.

What 'good deals'? $500+ is still a lot more than the $400+ some people paid for theirs here.

I'm still the lead carrot. Now I'm looking for a stable tripod and really good ball head. But the standard shops all here very expensive at retail price. Any lobang, anyone?

Sirui T1000 series tripod and g/k ballhead are good. Was trying a fellow CSer's T-025c carbon fibre, pretty good too for m43 cams, small portable light short. Buy and sell section would be best if u are on tight budget. Decent new tripod + bh sets u back abt $200 got aluminum ones

I actually have a Gitzo traveller tripod and mini ball head. quite ex then. And it sucks! Especially the ball head. Kept sliding even it said to support up to 4kg or so. The tripod is okay until I extend the centre pole, things get wobbly. Looking into the Manfrotto 486 Hydrostatic ball head, not sure worth it. I'm consider it because I use the standard quick release plate. Sirui got showroom?

Another problem to watch out for with a fisheye lens is the tendency to include your feet/shoes in the shots accidentally. ;)

Some more test shots taken with this lens today...

what is the ISO used? seem to be a lot of noise or you apply some filter?
The ISO is only 200. This is the problem with m43 sensors. When there is too much difference in the dynamic range between the brightest and darkest parts of the image like in the 2nd pic between the skylight and the interior of the shopping mall, there would be a lot of noise generated when you try to retrieve details from the darker parts of the image. It also doesn't help if the wall panels and floors were textured and came out looking rather grainy.

Anyone using it with vf2 or vf3? Currently using the ep3 zoom function and was wondering if the vf helps

My first fisheye lens. Like this lens a lot except that I keep shooting my own fingers. :bsmilie:
