No prob! :)

I'm back from Japan again too. Haha, have yet to finish posting for my July pics here and now I have another Nov Japan batch of pics to process and post.

Will have to finish posting of this July trip's remaining Kyoto pics, and then probably going to start a new Nov Japan trip's thread.

This time, I went Tokyo, Okayama (Kurashiki), Gotemba (Gotemba Premium Outlet & Grinpa's Sylvanian Families themepark), Osaka, Kyoto & Kanazawa.
Didn't managed to take as much photos this time round compared to my July's trip since I was more focused on shopping this time round. heh.
Only brought my D90 + 18-200 + 17-50 on this Nov trip since my D700 + 24-70 is not too conducive for shopping. :)

Welcome back...hope you enjoyed the autumn. Pictures le....? Sorry,.sorry go rest first.

Day 7 (Takayama to Kyoto, via Nagoya)

Left Takayama in the morning, then stopped over for lunch at Nagoya (since we had to transfer from the Ltd Exp train to Shinkansen at Nagoya anyway) at my fav King Crab branch near Nagoya station, then took Shinkansen to Kyoto. At Kyoto we only had time for a short visit to Gion area.

Here's my last batch of Takayama pics taken that morning before we move on to Kyoto via Nagoya.

293) We loved this brand of king crab restaurants when we were at Sapporo last year...so since I know they have a branch at Nagoya within 7mins walking distance from Nagoya train station, I demanded to have lunch here. heh.

For my Nov 2011 trip, my itinerary was : day 1 to day 4 Tokyo, day 5 Okayama, day 6 Gotemba, day 7 Grinpa themepark, day 8 Kyoto, day 9 Kanazawa, day 10 back to singapore.

Onsen places, I've been to Hokkaido (Lake Toya & Noboribetsu), & Ryokans in Takayama and Miyajima. Ryokans are hotels with traditional Japanese tatami rooms where dinners will be served in your room.

I don't usually go Japan to shop, more for taking photos and eating Japanese food. But on my Nov 2011 trip is the 1st time I really did tried to shop there. For clothes, I went Harajuku (more for female and less for males), for branded goods/clothes, Gotemba Premium outlet is good, for shoes and more clothes, I went Namba area at Osaka. I've known Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Ueno as also good areas to shop in Tokyo.

More pics of Day 7, these are taken in Kyoto

304) I just went into the small ally for 10mins to take pic (303) and when I walked back out onto the main street, it looks like this. The time difference taking pic (302) and this (304) is just about 15mins time difference.

yeah the darkness comes really quick during late autumn...too short a day.

Well today is my last night in Japan, be taking tomorrow morning's flight back.

Me and Hubby will be going Japan (yes, yet again...) in Feb 2012. This time, going to Kyushu & Hokkaido.
Hubby wanted to catch the "One Piece" themed event at a themepark called "Huis Ten Bosch" before the event ends in March 2012...and we both wanted to experience snow in Hokkaido...

I've only 2 more days worth of photos yet to be posted for this July 2011 trip. Not sure if I should continue posting the photos of my Japan Nov 2011 trip on this thread or start a new thread for that. Can't seem to be able to change this thread's title though.

Hi Fireemblem

The pics on this thread were taken back in July 2011...during summer. Which is why I was surprised that the skies turned dark so quickly.

I have another batch of Japan pics taking in my more recent Nov 2011 trip which I've yet to even looked at until I'm done with this July batch.

Which part of Japan are you at right now?

Was at Osaka, now back in Singapore, have close to 5000+ raw shots to look thru these few days
