[Sam]'s Japan trip (Kobe/Miyajima/Hiroshima/Osaka/Takayama/Kyoto)

This and the ginkakuji ticket looks like they can be used for unlimited entry as i never noticed any date stamped on something. I went back into Kinkakuji again soon after exiting.

Oh...that's true...didn't noticed it.
We walked out of the place, and then we walked in again to take more shots of the golden shrine and nobody stopped us. But I didn't think of going again the next day.

yeah, really too short for a day. So the next time i go to Japan, it will be in the spring period already.

Was at Osaka, now back in Singapore, have close to 5000+ raw shots to look thru these few days

I've been back from my Nov trip since 13Nov and I've yet to go through my pics yet. Still trying to upload my July trip's pics. :)

And what's more, I'm also trying to organise my Feb 2012's Japan trip in the meanwhile. Haha.

Have yet to process my Nov trip's pics...and now I'm busy preparing for my upcoming Feb's Japan trip to Hokkaido & Kyushu. :)

Will be flying off to Japan tomorrow morning. Yey!

Anyone knows how to change the thread title?
Don't feel like starting new thread for new trip, would rather combine with this thread.

Thanks.
Hmm, yeah that lens is kinda heavy. But if I were you and I had to choose just 1 lens to bring, I'll leave out the 70-200. Because I like Kyoto's architecture...so wide angle is more suitable.

Let me know if you need any help planning your trip.

By the way... how many photos u took? jpeg? memory capacity?
I took Jpeg. On my recent Hokkaido+Kyushu 15day trip, I used up 8 CF cards (4GB each). But I also brought my compact cam as well (Lumix LX5) so total memory used is more than 32GB. Can't remember. Total number of pics taken on my dslr is definitely above 3.5k

Thanks Sam for the insights...
Thanks for the offer but my itinerary completed planned. but of coz it will never go as planned.
So I just go with the flow...

Hmm... then i guess I will just leave the 70-200 behind.
just bring the 17-40 there..
if there is anything.. I will have my handy 50mm along with me :)

Thank you again.
